In the future, we will all work from wherever we happen to be, whenever it’s really convenient for us. And you’re seeing the transition to that from the cubicle-office model of modern business that we have now. Sure, there will always be certain jobs where you have to show up somewhere to get a job done. But let’s face it, a lot of what we do at the office could be done more efficiently, in less time, without the need for a desk somewhere. All we need is the right equipment and internet connection and software that helps us to share information easily.
According to this infographic, businesses are getting the message, and more and more of them are allowing users to access work and enterprise applications through their own devices. And the number of businesses who say they’re looking to move more and more of their operations into the mobile realm is only going to grow in the next few years.
