Teen pregnancy is a major concern not just in the US but around the world. The impact from teen pregnancy increases health risks due to abortions, mental trauma, and the lack of (or willingness to get) proper medical care.

In addition to the health risks posed to teen mothers, babies born from these unwanted pregnancies have statistically lower birth rates. That is if they even reach birth. Thirty-three percent of teen moms get an abortion while 14% of the pregnancies end in miscarriage.
