I think the stats on chocolate-consumption between the sexes really says something about our culture. And there is definitely a gender component when it comes to which foods, especially candy, that we consume. Just watch any ice cream or chocolate commercial on TV: The protagonist is invariably female, and the eating of chocolate is equated almost explicitly with sex. Watch, you’ll see.
